General Information

What are the sound backdrops on the conference web pages?

The lovely Australian birds, that can be heard with suitable computers as a backdrop to some of the conference pages, are common in Canberra. They may be observed during the conference at the Australian National Botanical Gardens, which is not far from the venue. The 'Home' page features the sound of a didgeridoo. Among the Australian aboriginal musical instruments the digderidoo may be well known. Much less known are the bull roarer and the gum leaf, which also produce typical Australian sounds.
