HFI/NQI 2014 Viewing of the Southern Night Sky
Friday 19th September, 2014
Dr Steve James invites delegates to join him for a viewing of the southern night sky outside the Shine Dome on Tuesday night, 23 September, just after night fall (7 pm). While a city location is not ideal, good weather and a new moon promise good viewing conditions of the southern cross and other prominent stars.
(Canberra spring nights are fresh. Take a jumper, coat and hat.)
